Workplace chaplaincy is an important part of the work of Nottingham City Centre Group of Churches.

  • visiting workplaces and informal chats

  • training and personal development workshops
  • practical support and advice at times of change

Helping humanise the workplace
Work is a significant area of life - when we are at work it is hard to leave problems, stresses and big questions at home.

Experienced support
- the Nottingham Workplace Chaplaincy has over 15 years of experience of offering simple down-to-earth support to people at work.

Workplace visiting - working primarily from St Peter's in the City Centre, the Chaplaincy Team visits workplaces regularly and is available to listen in confidence to your problems.

Available to all staff
- this service is for all people whatever their beliefs and circumstances and is definitely not about promoting any particular faith. We are working with Nottingham Inter Faith Council
in a number of major workplaces in the city.

Confidential and independent support
These are some typical issues we can help people with in their workplaces:

      • bereavement
      • health concerns
      • relationship issues
      • loneliness
      • stress
      • somebody to listen
      • redundancy
      • managing change
      • work/life balance

You can contact us if you need someone who can offer you:

      • experience
      • time
      • a listening ear
      • an opportunity to bounce ideas off
      • practical advice at times of change

Although we are not professionally trained counsellors, we can also recommend professional counselling support if needed.
