For those suffering with addiction

Remembering Jesus' ministry to those who sought him out, we pray for those who are suffering with addiction of any
kind – whether drugs, smoking, work, chocolate, behaviour. Give them the strength to face their fears and
to work at recovery. For those who care for them, for family and friends, allow them patient
understanding and persevering love. Amen
